Sailesh Chandra has over three decades of experience across corporate and academic sectors. His research philosophy is two-fold: it must be rigorous and deliver meaningful impact to industry and society in a timely manner. His core research areas include process optimization and automation, as well as exploring the application of cutting-edge technologies such as AI, big data, and blockchain in business contexts.
He has held senior positions at global companies including Wells Fargo, Visionet Systems, and Coforge, and has an extensive consulting record. As a researcher, Sailesh has published several SCOPUS-indexed papers, holds multiple national and international patents, and is the author of four books on AI and blockchain. Currently, apart from being a Director at the Centre for AI and an associate professor at PES University, he is a doctoral scholar at Christ (Deemed to be) University, Bengaluru, and is expected to complete his doctorate by the end of this year.
