Each session began with a brief discussion on the publication landscape and the citation potential of research papers written by Indonesian authors.

“This series of workshops enabled our Indonesian audience to understand the different aspects involved in the publication cycle, including answers to questions like how to prepare a manuscript, what are the ethical issues to keep in mind, what is the importance of attending academic conferences, and how to revise a manuscript based on referee feedback. It was wonderful to see the interest and excitement among the young researchers who attended our workshops. They not only asked interesting questions but also presented an inquisitive approach about the entire research publication process. This signifies the potential of Indonesia as a country to make crucial contributions through scholarly research and the dissemination of information emerging from its universities.” said Anupama Kapadia, Editor-in-Chief, Enago Academy and AGM, Enago Operations.

However, the challenge of understanding the various aspects of research communication and publication persists, especially for an early-career researcher. We collaborated with Enago to fix this issue and to provide our researchers with continuous support, and are extremely happy with the results of the workshops conducted. The topics presented were apt for our audience, and we would not be surprised if some of them insist on another set of workshops by Enago.”
