Fanrong Meng, Ph.D, is a professor at School of Public Policy and Administration and the Executive Director of the Research Center for Performance Management of Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU). She was a visiting scholar at Indiana University Bloomington, USA and Australia National University. She is also a Board Member of the Asian Association for Public Administration (AAPA) and Vice President/Committee Member of the Chinese Association for Science of Science and Science and Technology Policy (CASSSP). Her research fields include performance management in public sectors, environment policy and governance, government reform and innovation. She has led and participated in various research programs funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), the Chinese Social Science Foundation, the Social Science Program by the Ministry of Education of China, the Soft Science Program by Shaanxi Province, and many other research programs funded by governmental departments at various levels.
