Ask a Question

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us using the form below. Our representative will reply soon. Alternatively, you can also write to us at orders@enago.com

Certificate of Editing (COE)

A number of journals ask for a certificate of editing at the time of manuscript submission. This certificate is useful especially for non-native English-speaking authors, because some journals insist on a Certificate of Editing which states that the paper is edited by native professional editors, and may include a standard recommendation for English editing by native professional editors in the absence of one. We provide such certificates for free, to authors availing our Copyediting and Substantive editing services.

Manuscript Rate Card™ (MRC™)

"What are the overall chances of my paper getting published? What could I possibly do to further boost my publication prospects? Are there areas I can improve upon to be a better writer in future?” – The answer to all these questions is our Manuscript Rate Card service (MRC):
  • An editor who works on your manuscript rates it on a scale of 1-5 to indicate how close it is to getting published. The rating parameters include grammar, language, and academic writing style.
  • The expert provides you with valuable tips and suggestions to enhance your manuscript
  • He also recommends useful resources (websites and books) to help you upgrade your writing skills for future

    Journal Formatting

Formatting as per the target journal's guidelines is an extremely important step for successful submission to the journal. We ensure that specific formatting requirements are adhered to as per your target journal guidelines mentioned in instructions to authors. This also covers application style guide (e.g., APA, MLA, and CMoS). This service is offered for free under our Copyediting and Substantive Editing services.

    Word count reduction (WRC)

Often, the process of choosing the journal happens after finalizing the manuscript. This stage can be challenging for authors, especially when the finished manuscript is not in accordance with the requirements and guidelines of the selected journal in terms of the words / pages allowed. The Word Count Reduction service is provided free of charge up to 10% for Copyediting, and up to 20% for Substantive Editing. This service is available only if clearly requested in the order form.

    Cover Letter

Cover letter is written by the editor who works on your manuscript as he knows your research work in detail. Our editors take care of all aspects to create an attractive cover letter with important points highlighted. We provide free cover letter under Substantive editing service that you could submit along with your paper to the journal.
