Application Process
- Upload your CV and cover letter here.
- We will then examine your CV/resume and check whether your overall profile meets our requirements.
- Next, we will send you a doctored editing sample designed to test your editing skills and subject matter expertise.
- Once we receive the edited sample, we will get back to you within 1 week with the results of the evaluation.
- If selected, we shall present you with a contract, which includes a non-disclosure agreement, terms of service, and other relevant documents.
We should add here that since we process a large number of applications on a daily basis, we may not be able to immediately inform you if your profile does not meet our requirements.
No, you just need Microsoft Word. However, our test requires you to know and use MS Word’s “Track Changes” feature.
The test should be edited using the “Track Changes” feature of MS Word. The sample is not entirely representative of the work you will receive; it is targeted at skill assessment only. The sample itself will be an excerpt from a manuscript authored by non-native English-speaking researchers, intended for an international audience. Therefore, apart from the usual language, grammar, usage, punctuation, and spelling revisions, it may warrant sentence reconstruction and content changes to varying degrees. Please feel free to use supporting comments/notes to explain extensive changes and content enhancements, if any, and/or to clarify ambiguities.
