Employers are increasingly looking for graduates who can effectively collaborate with AI\u2014those who can craft strategic prompts, assess AI-generated content, and make thoughtful, ethical decisions about its use. Outdated or overly restrictive policies do little to support long-term goals. But the real issue lies in <strong data-start=\"3620\" data-end=\"3627\">how<\/strong> students use it and whether they\u2019re being taught to engage with it critically and ethically.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3722\" data-end=\"3988\">To meet the needs of the future workplace, higher education must lead efforts to build true AI fluency. This isn\u2019t just a tech gap, it\u2019s a skills gap, and it threatens to leave a generation of graduates underprepared for the realities of an AI-first workforce.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4663\" data-end=\"4898\">We are entering a new era of literacy where understanding and applying AI is as fundamental as reading or writing.
