She has given hundreds of talks, including to the US-NIH, NASA, and World Congress on Research Integrity, and consulted with the US, Canadian, and European governments. Dr. McIntosh\u2019s work was the most-read RetractionWatch post of 2022. In 2023, her influential ideas on achieving equity in research were highlighted in the Guardian and Science.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Daniel Ucko <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Head of Ethics and Research Integrity, American Physical Society (APS Physics)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As Head of Ethics and Research Integrity, Daniel is responsible for maintaining a strong philosophy of ethics and integrity at the APS journals, and also represents the APS in research integrity spaces, including serving as an elected member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) council.<\/p>\n<p>Daniel received his Ph.D. in physics in 2001 from University College London, UK. He went on to postdoctoral research position at the University of Birmingham, UK, and at the low-energy muon beam at the Paul Scherrer Institute in Switzerland.
