Researchers need to provide information such as images, data sets, cover letter, manuscript, supplementary information (if needed), ethical declaration, and consent forms to journal editors in a specified format. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.enago.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Enago<\/strong><\/a> conducted an informative webinar for medical practitioners and researchers from <a href=\"https:\/\/jec.co.id\/id\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Jakarta Eye Centre<\/strong><\/a> to help them avoid making incomplete and incorrect submissions to journals leading to immediate rejection and understand the importance of publication ethics. Further, we discussed ways in which authorship dilemma and pre-submission queries can be addressed.<\/p>\n<p>Researchers will have a better understanding of the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Criteria for manuscript acceptance<\/li>\n<li>Common reasons for manuscript rejection<\/li>\n<li>Identify the right type of manuscript and preparing the manuscript as per the recommended format<\/li>\n<li>How to avoid ethical issues<\/li>\n<li>Tips for choosing the right journal and successful <a href=\"https:\/\/www.enago.com\/submission-preparation.htm\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"123\" title=\"manuscript submission\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">manuscript submission<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>About the Speaker<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Despina Sanoudou, Ph.D. (Cambridge), FACMG, Former Instructor at Harvard Medical School<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>An established researcher, public speaker, and published author, Dr. Sanoudou is an award-winning medical researcher with 181 publications in renowned medical\/biomedical journals. The impact of her work is demonstrated by the 5190 citations that she has to her credit. She is also the recipient of more than 20 research grants. Dr. Sanoudou was a post-doctoral fellow as well as an instructor at Harvard Medical School. She has also worked as a coordinator for an international genomics\/pharmacogenomics program and as a fellow with Genzyme and Brigham and Women\u2019s Hospital. As a Publication and Training Consultant with Enago Academy, she conducts webinars and workshops to help researchers understand the nuances of academic writing and publishing. To date, Dr. Sanoudou has attended &gt;200 national and international conferences as an invited speaker, served as a peer reviewer for 41 international journals, and chaired several seminars.
