We will also share hands-on tips with researchers to <strong>present their research data<\/strong> in an efficient and appealing way. Although a high number of articles are submitted to a journal, only a small fraction reaches the peer-review stage and very few get accepted. The transition of a manuscript from review to the journal\u2019s final decision is a very stressful period for authors.\u00a0 Our presentation is targeted towards authors who have a good grasp of the overall publication cycle but want more clarity on how to respond to the reviewers\u2019 comments effectively and overcome rejections from journals.<\/p>\n<p>After this session, researchers will have an improved understanding of the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The peer-review process in academic publishing<\/li>\n<li>Advantages and disadvantages of the various peer review models adopted by journals<\/li>\n<li>The selection process followed by journals<\/li>\n<li>Causes of rejection by journals and tips to avoid journal rejection<\/li>\n<li>Commonly cited reasons in rejection letters and sample rejection letters<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Topic 2: How to Present Research Data<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Researchers have large complex data to present in the result section of their manuscript making it lengthy. Undoubtedly, the result section is the most significant part of a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.enago.com\/submission-preparation.htm\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"18\" title=\"Research paper\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">research paper<\/a>; however, it is often challenging to include all the findings from a research study in one article. The content of the data presented must match the aim and objectives of the research, and clearly answer the question \u201cWhat was found during the study?\u201d The data and its analyses should be kept as simple as possible for readers to understand completely. For researchers who wish to pursue their studies in a foreign country, research grants and fellowships are important. However, not all applications get accepted by the funding bodies.
