Taiwan<\/strong>: With over 500 participants, Enago successfully concluded a series of author workshops at renowned medical centers such as Chung Shan Medical University Hospital, China Medical University Hospital, Mackay Memorial Hospital, and Tri-Service General Hospital in Taiwan. These sessions received a considerable response from both early-stage as well as experienced researchers who were eager to understand the challenges they need to overcome to get published in international peer-review journals.<\/p>\n

\"\"The lectures were delivered by Dr. Mingfang Lu, Training & Publication Expert, Enago, who addressed several key challenges faced by ESL researchers. He also focused on how researchers can overcome journal rejection, how to respond to reviewers’ comments, and how to avoid research misconduct. Thanks to his extensive experience in working with international academic publishers, Dr. Lu was able to share some practical tips that helped researchers understand the importance of adhering to journal guidelines. After each session, the extensive Q&A sessions helped researchers clarify their publication-related doubts with Dr. Lu and improve their understanding of the publication cycle.<\/p>\n

\"\"Mr. Cai Sheng-da from Department of Neurology, China Medical University Hospital<\/strong> mentioned, \u201cWe are grateful to Dr. Lu for conducting this workshop. The session was intended to help researchers holistically understand the multiple steps involved, starting from clinical observation and writing to reviewing and submitting manuscripts. Indeed, this session has helped in clarifying many doubts. We have gained a lot in just over an hour and got useful insights for future publications. I would also like to appreciate Enago\u2019s high-quality services in assisting and educating Taiwanese researchers.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mrs. Chen Ya-Lin<\/strong>, Supervisor of Department of Nursing, Tri Service General Hospital<\/strong> commented, \u201cThe topic How to improve the chances of publishing papers in internationally renowned review journals<\/em> was very interesting. Dr. Mingfang Lu shared various tips and explained the structure of a research paper<\/a> in the simplest way for better understanding. The most intriguing topic for the audience was how to appropriately respond to reviewers’ comments. After this session, we feel highly motivated to publish papers in international journals.\u201d<\/p>\n

\"\"Mrs. Wu Meng-Hsuan<\/strong>, Traditional Chinese Medicine, China Medical University<\/strong> said, \u201cProfessor Lu\u2019s in-depth session helped us understand the importance of research ethics and provided tips for improving the quality of our\u00a0manuscripts. This will surely help make the journal submission<\/a> process a lot easier and less intimidating. Also, the information about open access and copyrights was extremely useful.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mrs. Wu Yueh-Chu<\/strong>, Diabetes Health Education, Chung Shan Medical University Hospital<\/strong> also mentioned, \u201cThrough Dr. Lu\u2019s guidance, we learnt how to effectively respond to reviewers’ comments. He explained the importance of drafting the discussion and conclusion sections appropriately while preparing our manuscript. Also, Dr. Lu explained how to structure manuscripts properly.
