In today’s scientific landscape when researchers have to publish their research in order to sustain their academic careers, the process of selecting a good journal is a crucial step towards showcasing their research to the right target audience. Owing to an exponential increase in the number of journals over the last decade, selecting an appropriate journal has become increasingly difficult. This presentation is primarily targeted towards early-stage researchers who wish to publish their research, but find it difficult to select an appropriate journal for their manuscript.
After this session, you will have more information about the following:
This presentation is primarily targeted toward helping researchers in handing rejections from journals, and will also help early-stage researchers improve first-time acceptance of their manuscripts. The advancement of research hinges on the dissemination of new discoveries by their publication in peer-reviewed international journals. At the heart of academic publishing, peer review leads to over 1.5 million published scholarly manuscripts every year. Although the number of published papers is increasing year-on-year, this iterative selection process also results in approximately 60% rejection rate, including 21% rejection after preliminary editorial screening.

This presentation is primarily targeted toward researchers who wish to submit their papers to top-notch international journals but face difficulty with the correct usage of language and grammar. In a system where experts from respective fields need to assess the validity, significance, and originality of the described work, it is imperative that the language quality of the articles submitted to such journals is good to avoid rejection at the peer review stage. Unfortunately, many papers that do not satisfy internationally accepted language requirements are rejected by the journal editors themselves and do not even reach the stage of peer review.
After this session, you will have more information about the following:
TPresenting at conferences is an important part of scientific communication and can considerably enhance a researcher’s career prospects. Addressing a large audience can be quite a daunting experience, especially for early-stage researchers. This presentation will provide basic principles which will help researchers create a good presentation and deliver it successfully.

Peer review is one of the most critical processes in academic publishing and continues to have a significant effect on the number and type of studies that get published each year. However, because of the increase in predatory publishing and fake peer reviews, researchers and journals are finding it difficult to maintain ethical practices and improve the effectiveness of peer review. Our presentation is targeted towards experienced authors who have a good grasp of the overall publication cycle but want more clarity regarding the challenges and developments that have taken place in the peer review process in the past decade.
